Raiders FC U17 Premier Team Wins Midwest Regional League
The Raiders FC U17 Premier boys team has won the Midwest Regional League (MRL) Premier Blue division. The team secured their championship with a 4-1 win over Galaxy 94/95 Blue at the University of Illinois at Chicago match which also doubled as the Kick Out Cancer charity match. The MRL offers the absolute best league competition in the Midwest as teams vie for the chance to earn spots into the Midwest Regionals as part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. The team will now move onto the US Youth Soccer Regional’s in Saginaw, Michigan in June. The Raiders FC U17 Premier team is coached by Minos Vlamakis.

Tryouts starting today at 5:00 pm at the Raiders Fields for boys and they are on for next three weeks. The girls tryouts are week of May 29th. For the tryout schedule and more info please visit www.raidersfc.com.
If you are existing players that are current Raiders and planning to come back to please pre-register on our new registration site as soon as possible. All players including returning players are required to sign up, so that we have an updated tryout roster. Log in at www.raidersfc.com. also, remind them to register for their age appropriate team in the fall. (i.e. if u10 now, then sign up for u11)

Also, for those with children ages 3 to 6, try our Little Raiders Program, starting this summer, or one of our summer camps.
Also there is Charity Match at the UIC campus in Downtown Chicago this Tuesday between U17 premier Raiders and Galaxy SC. 05/15/2012 with start at 7:00 pm. Doors will be open at 6:00 and food and drinks will be served for affordable price. All the proceeds goes to Leukemia and Cancer charity organizations and Raider FC foundation.
